The street to no where, the bridge to my heart.....

Infrared photographs remind me of the old Rod Serling "Twilight Zone" episodes on TV. They look like reality, but then again they don't. Because of this mysterious quality, infrared photography holds my attention longer then regular photos. My eyes continually scan the image to try to find out just what is different about this film. I like that sense of mystery. It engages the viewer and leaves them with a unique impression about a world they didn't know before. The ability to make that connection with the viewer is what makes good photography and good art.

There is more to an image than meets the eye in life cycle photography. When you look at a bride and groom thier is a spirituality of one while you can see two unique people. Infrared photos open your mind to new windows to the soul.

The home of my youth.
